The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

 This is my first time writing a review about a book, and also this is my first book which I read on my Kindle, The name of the book is-The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

The perks of being a wallflower

As I started reading the book, I instantly connected with the character Charlie in a strange way, I felt there is something common in us, the way he views the world is exactly the same as I do. Charlie writes letter, and I am also doing Diary writing from past 5 years.And We both loves writing.If this book was not written in letter format, then it won't be able to give that touch, to see the things through Charlie perspective and because of this style, I felt more connected with this book.

As the plot begins, you can see that Charlie fears to be known as the weird who was hospitalized for summer and for not having friends. I can totally relate with that-when I started my college last year as a freshman, I was afraid that I won't be able to make friends or my classmate will know me as a unusual kid, who doesn't talk only listens to music, and writes.

This book is a rollercoster of emotions, there are moments which will make you happy and suddenly, there will be something that will make you sad. There is a line in the book where Charlie says-”this is my life and I want you to know that I am both happy and sad, and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be”.This line was a relief for me because I thought I was the only insane kid, who feels happy and sad at the same time, but dude after reading this line, I am at peace, that there is a felling like this exist happy and sad both at a same time.

My favourite part of the book is when Charlie was with his friend's Sam and Patrick in the car, when there was going through the Tunnel and music was playing loud, at that moment Charlie said- I feel Infinite. There are moments in everyone life, when you feel infinite all you want is to be in that moment and wish that it should last forever.

But in my case, I am waiting for that moment to arrive when I will feel infinite, I have many perception about it that maybe, when I kiss the first girl, or might be when I will do my first music concert then I will feel infinite.  I hope the moment will arrive very soon when I will feel infinite.

I want to avoid giving spoilers of this book because this book is so lovely, if anyone is reading this blog, then please give a shot to this book.Some of my favorate quotes from this book are-
